I reckon they still haven't been sent out. Will go today probably. Posting an image at gone 6pm on Facebook of a pile of albums to send out on a Thursday will mean they are ready to go and thats about it

 

I know right! Its not like its brand new music, and you are not shafting any other retailer by sending them out in batches, rather than one massive release-day horde.

 

They have definitely started shipping because mine has arrived.

Mine says dispatched on 15th, and I did get a card through the door so will trek to post office and see if it has arrived.

 

If I could figure out how to get pics on here I would. Sleeve is very nice - glossy gatefold. Colours match original Creation sleeve very closely. Inside gatefold - blue graphics as per Creation inner sleeve - reads "mastered from analog 1/2" tapes using studer a80 vu-pre and neumann vms 80" above production credits. Red heavy paper sleeve poly lined. Clean vinyl - not time to listen yet! One picture also on Instagram - #mbv. Looks the business.

 

Lucky sod! You must be one of the very first to receive it. Please let us know how it sounds when you listen to it!

 

The pics on Insta look great. Glad they returned to the UK labels, and the sleeve looks nice as well. Now to hear how it sounds!

To whoever received their copies of MBV reissues, can anyone please provide the sound quality and which pressing plant they used?

 

My money is on Optimal, or maybe Record Industry...
