Pictures are OK now. Killer system, Anton, very old-school kind of good!

Thanx! That's exactly the kind of style AND sound I was going for - huge powerful yet rich and warm sound with big bass. The kind of Tannoy midrange meets JBL bass kinda sound that I was craving for years. The super tweeters make sure that there is tons of air and detail in the highs as well. Plus the super tweeters can be switched off or reduced 50 percent which is a very welcome feature if the record is a bit bright (like some japanese pressings can be). I also added McIntosh cabling to add just a tiny spice of McIntosh coloration that I love so much.

For the record, his last name is, and has always been Shushurin. Vladimir Shushurin. Russian Jew rocket scientist.
Americas couldn't quite pronounce it so he agreed to Lamm.

God, your avatar is my dream turntable. The most beautiful TT I ever saw but it was always way out of my budget!

Indeed - although I have to say, "Shushurin" does not seem that hard to pronounce.

Even sounds somewhat Japanese. Keeping the name might've been beneficial in the world of amp manufacturing.

I agree, but for most of his customers, press, and trade showgoers was.

Thank you, Anton. They're crafted and restored down here in CA by Peter Norbaek of PBN loudspeakers fame. A genius in loudspeaker and electronic components design (IMO).
Although, Vladimir Shushurin might be a more accomplished component designer (also IMO).

LOL, it's a very easy russian surname. Imagine if the guy was called Khristorozhdestvensky or Krzhizanovsky!:D
