In fact, most people went for Avalon which surprised me.

    Your Favourite Roxy Music Album

Id go for any of the first three over Avalon.

David Bowie - my favourite album is "Lodger", instead of "Hunky Dory", "Ziggy Stardust", "Station to Station", "Low", "Heroes", or "Blackstar"

AC/DC - Back In Black is good, but I much prefer Powerage, Flick Of The Switch, and probably Highway To Hell.
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II and the fourth album are my least favorite albums by the band. I much prefer the debut and Physical Graffiti.
Pink Floyd - I think that Pink Floyd made 14 studio albums that were better than The Wall. If Dark Side is the "Y" in this instance, then Atom Heart Mother and Animals still top it, as well as maybe Meddle and, if it counts, the live disc of Ummagumma. Man, what a great band. Still hate The Wall though.
Bruce Springsteen - nothing in the universe that isn't alive (and probably a good chunk of what is alive) comes close to Darkness On The Edge Of Town. I do love Born To Run, though. However apart from the middle five songs, Born In The USA can bite it.
The Waterboys - well, I don't think many people would freak out if I said This Is The Sea is my favorite, but I would probably get a lot of grief for saying that I like Modern Blues more than Fisherman's Blues. By a considerable margin.
The Who - Who's Next is a masterpiece but Quadrophenia wipes the floor with it. I'm also not fond of either of the first three albums, apart from a few scattered songs I don't understand why people love them so much.

My favorite Floyd album is Meddle, although I don't think it's that unusual of a sentiment.

Relayer is my favorite Yes record though.

A few years ago I would've agreed. Pepper seems to have slipped a little last few years. . . I think any of The Beatles later catalogue is probably equally beloved: Revolver, White album, Abbey Road even MMT gets a lotta love. Who knows about those kooky Beatle people.

Led Zeppelin III over everything else they did.

Pearl Jam No Code over everything else. Also, even though I like Ten, VS, and Vitalogy, I prefer everything they released afterwards.

Guns N Roses Use Your Illusion 1 and 2 over Appetite For Destruction. :hide:

I agree Rocks is better -- but I think the majority of Aerofans feel the same. Check out this poll:

I'm an equal opportunity Metallica fanboy. I love every album. I mean, it goes without saying that the first four albums are stone cold classics. Of course I wouldn't pit Load against Ride the Lightning or Justice or something, lol. :D

And yes, Sleepwalker over Village Green. Classic album, I just highly favor Sleepwalker. :)
