So I have a chance to buy a dual 1219 turntable still in its factory box. $135.
Assembly required. Before I go over there is there some things I should look into? Is it hard to assemble a turntable?
I asked the owner about the turntable cover which he replied it's in perfect condition. Everything from the factory is still in the box.
    Thanks.

Duals are great turntables, but they can be a pain to service and ship. Mechanics are sort overbuilt 1970s style, but in great working order they are some of my favorite turntables. If the turntable is still in its factory box it should be ok, and plenty of information on the internet to help you assemble it!

There isn't much assembly needed with a Dual! If NOS it will have instructions.

Bad news. The "plan" was to pick this up the next morning at 9:30 am on my way home (I work nights) but my work mandated that I stay the following shift due to people not coming in.
    Arrrgh!
    Sigh, next time. Nos turntable!!
    C'est la vie!

I just repaired a Dual 1249. Lots of fun in there.

Is this Dual you're picking up NOS? Sounds like a great deal if so.

    BTW, retired AF here.
