Well, after studying all info on those links and looking at my LP and cover, I'm confused. Here is what I see on my LP and cover. Please tell me what you think I have. :)

Cover: Back bottom right has both Maclen Music and NEMS 1967 statements which indicates it is not a 1st pressing but 1968 at the earliest.
The with is ommited on With a little help from my friends however, indicating it is a first pressing(if you read what is said in 1 of those links)
BTW, it has the Yellow strip across the top with STEREO>
So I'm confused about the contradictory info I read on those links.

Vinyl: It is an LA pressing(*)
    Matrix codes SMAS-1-2653-A-10 (SIDE 1)
    SMAS-2-2653-B-11 (SIDE 2)
Label shows the With present(cover does not)
    No "Subsidiary" statement on label.

I'm guessing I have an early 1968 pressing but what about the cover?

My guess would be you may have a '67 pressing in a '68 sleeve.
I suppose one possible explanation is there may have been a transition period in '68 when the original LP's were being placed in the newer sleeves...just a thought.

Yes, I do and I realised I'd got the LP and sleeve the wrong way round :D
I've amended my last post to reflect this! It may be that the newer sleeves came into use during early '68 before the label change (mid-'68). That would seem the likely explanation - your pressing would appear to be an original (I assume the label on yours is the pre-1968 variant?) but with the 'second' cover from '68. The definitive answer might be found in one of the recent books about the Beatles on Capitol Records by Bruce Spizer.

    Kipper, thanks again!

The record label does not have the "Subsidiary statement" so it's definitely pre mid 1968 pressing. :)
