Yea, that's the NYCH I want to hear. Very tight to my ears and yes, Neil's guitar was shining at the center throughout. That run of Cinnamon Girl, Cortez, Walk On and Like a Hurricane was truly epic. Cinnamon Girl was as tight and crunchy as ever, Cortez had a nice simmering groove-like trance to it, Walk On nailed it, and those opening notes to Like a Hurricane get me every time. Great version, even including the last few minutes where Neil started to get into his tedious mode, but he held it together interestingly.

Great show and stream. The Horse is back, even if it's only for these few shows, and Neil delivered in every way, musically, emotionally and technologically...

I am jealous of those that were in the house last night. Neil Young in 2018, that's a great thing to have!

Now I can bring last night up on my TV screen, thanks to the You Tube posts. Loved my time on the desktop last night, but a bigger, louder rerun should really be fun !

Made a playlist of the setlist on Apple Music for any streamers out there. Called it "NYCH" in case anyone's interested. Great batch of songs. Can't wait to see what they play tonight.

As I see it Mr Young has delivered a true hattrick: Paradox (the soundtrack), Roxy and now this first NYCH show. Not bad, not bad at all.

I think so! Not a single hot chick.

At least there was free street parking right outside the venue.

Thanks to those who posted the video clips. Hope Neil lets Nils take some solos, he is a very tasty player.

Let's see some more dates for Neil and CH

I would drop $200 just to find out if Neil plans on taking this Horse on the road!

He is, (at a Nils gig I'd certainly want to hear him solo), but personally I'm glad Neil is back in a band where he is the "solo soloist". I don't think playing off other lead guitarists has ever been Neil's most exciting strength - he plays his best when he completely dominates with nobody to fall back on.

The exception being songs when he's not playing any lead guitar at all; Speakin' Out, Are You Ready For The Country, the piano version of TTN etc etc. These would be a great opportunity for Nils to shine as the soloist.

What was the deal with the multi-colored grand piano stage right? Expensive/heavy prop?

Not sure if you're joking or not, but that piano has been used frequently. I suspect it will be used tonight or tomorrow...

I've seen it for 40 years but I'm still not sure what the deal is with dressing up the String Man as a peace bird and hanging it from the lighting rig.

Nice setlist. Although 16 songs is still about 10 too few for my taste.

I am not educated in seeing Neil Live so this was kinda new to me. The string man thing was also a mystery to me but, go with the flow. Neil is a past master at eclecticism.

Old man has to pace himself; busy week ahead. 2 and a quarter hours. But didn't feel like that. Of course a lot of folks split before the encore.

As a casual fan I'm kinda surprised at the overflowing acclaim. I just assume he is on fire every night?

The Zzzquil / Gabapentin kicked in during Cinnamon Girl, after that I was in, and out. Thank God for You Tube. It was after midnight here too.
