As of right now yes, the only customers who have access now are like me who bought a player during the Kickstarter campaign last March. The store is supposed to go live in the US and Canada sometime early in 2015 with other countries going live later in 2015.

Then American Stars 'n Bars would probably be # 9, ie. no room for Long Way You Run.
Live Rust would most likely be #12.

The HDCD is a lot louder than any of these vinyl reissues. Or any number of CDs or SACDs I've been listening to recently.

Can the actual Pono announcement thread can be used to discuss the digital versions: http://forums.stevehoffman.tv/threa...-be-released-thru-pono-on-dec-23-2014.399342/

And we use this thread to discuss the vinyl reissues.

finally TFA has a digital release! I know it's not on cd, but there's nothing to stop us from downloading the pono version and making a cd now.

This is how my TFA came to me. The pics don't do the damage justice. The damaged parts are quite raised and textured. The seller is sending me a new copy that he must have opened another box for. Apparently, mine is not the only case he's encountered. Anyone else with a similar issue? [IMG] [IMG]

I never gave these four Lps more than a passing notice, although I own the originals. To say I am impressed is an understatement.

My Neil Young albums didn't have this, but I have gotten a couple other unrelated pressings with this chewed up thing. Looks like they fell into the machinery, or someone kicked them across the floor.

Oddly enough, I just had to return a pressing of Harvest because of this same issue. I think the S/T reissue had a similar issue when I purchased it a year ago.

Any news about more NYA ORS in vinyl?

A Comes A Time reissue would be great

I'd hazard a guess and say the next box will come out next year, followed by Archives 2 (sometime in the next decade).

So now you lot have had these new versions in your possession for a few days or weeks with obvious issues aside is this worth getting if I have mint UK copies of all bar US Zuma. I have never been too impressed with my UK On The Beach.
I have seen it going for £80 odd in some places so its starting to itch.

The US original of Zuma is really excellent, but this new one is even better. I'm not familiar with UK Neil Young, so I can't compare to those, but these new ones beat my original TTN and OTB by a decent margin. TTN in particular is stunningly good. I've never owned TFA till now, so I can't comment on that, but sonically it doesn't quite compete with the other three.

The only reissue album I've been disappointed in a little bit is Harvest -- loved the perfect cover repro, but sonically there's something a little dead about it, esp the vocals. This new box contains no such issues (though I have nothing to compare to the TFA).

Pallas USA has raised my ire. Does anyone have an email address for replacement issues? I have gotten two copies from my local bm, who can't return them to his distributor, which hasn't corrected the issue.

FWIW Bellman's new cut of On the Beach is incredible, when it is not plagued by loud non fill issues. .......

Someday when this gets sorted I would like to post a proper review.

Are those scratches or some kind of substance on the disc?
