I really enjoy the show, there seems to be a real sense of the west in the dialogue. In the last couple of episodes it has become visually apparent that New Mexico is where filming takes place. Too bad as Buffalo and Sheridan, Wyoming are spectacular.

I thought the election episode was outstanding, so well-paced and thought out, was very suspenseful.

Las Vegas, NM is the town used. Tax breaks in NM but you're correct, the Buffalo area is very nice. I'll take it over Rock Springs any day.

I think Season 2 was a little better than Season 1. The show has been renewed, by the way.

My earlier post on this show was not too kind. I have since changed my mind as the writing and character development has improved.
I will only DVR this show as A&E is really top heavy with the commercial breaks, so FF thru the breaks is only possible via DVR. My other favorite cop show "The Glades" never received the notice it richly deserved. So sorry it was cancelled.

I was reading the Longmire books before the TV show and find the Longmire character in the books with a sense of humor that the TV Longmire rarely displays. I still enjoy the show though.

I am enjoying it. I only wish he would take the coat off until winter.

  12. I like the show and feel that it has steadily I proved with each season. The writing can be pedestrian at times but I love the characters and actors.

I really looked forward to this show each week. Thought Robert Taylor was well cast as the stoic sheriff. Very sad it has been canceled.

Has anyone seen S5? I found it weird that's it's not on netflix global since it's their own production from S4. It's only on US and AU/NZ netflix. What's up with that?

I have watched the first 2 from Season 5 on Netflix. Great show, I HOPE this isn't the last season. As stated earlier HECTOR LIVES!
