oh she's so good. I look forward to another Bassey blessing. hope she comes to do a few US shows...one of the greats

 

I've never seen the Dame live... Wish she'd do an extensive "farewell" tour and include Pittsburgh on her itinerary! Highly unlikely I know, but I can dream! Have you ever seen her in concert before?

 

Going by her last album this is a must buy for me.

Does Paloma Faith mispronounce "Cartier" at around 2:43 in this clip? She pronounces the word with the final r (car-ti-air), not without the final r (car-ti-a), which is the only way I've ever heard it pronounced.

Shirley sounds great. Can't wait for the album.

Has she not sung all these songs on previous albums is this a reissue from her catalogue with a new duet ??

 

All songs are new recordings with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Goldfinger is the only song she has recorded in the past.
