Which is the one with Ben Folds?

 

Ben Folds produced the title track. He's been very vocal about supporting Kesha over the past few years.

 

The further away that The Flaming Lips stay from this, the better.

(Clarification: because they're terrible, and Kesha is not)

 

"Praying" is a beautiful song. I'm looking forward to hearing the album.

I love this song. It was co-written by Kesha's mother, Pebe Sebert.

So Ben Folds isn't singing?

 

I don't think so, but I'm not positive. According to the article, "The title track was produced by Ben Folds along with Kesha..." so I'm assuming he appears on the track, but maybe only instrumentally.

 

"Godzilla"? Is it too much to hope it's a BOC cover?

 

Now I can say I told you so to all those people on this forum who said Kesha's career was over. And, I can also say I told you so to those who said she couldn't sing.

 

Praying is a pretty good song. Obviously, the lyrics can be interpreted as being directed at her previous boss... Too much auto-tune on the song for my liking, but still a well done song that builds to a good conclusion. Not a fan of the video, though.

I can't tell whether or not I love or hate that album cover. My goodness.

Hey, it's about time we saw a woman's bare butt on an album cover in an art-rock looking illustration.

I'm glad to hear she's got an album coming out. I don't really know that much about her but I feared that she was done. Alice Cooper said that she'd make a great rock singer and that alone made me wish she'd be able to continue.

 

Good heavens, that song is.....wow.

 

That sounds more like the Kesha of yore than Praying. If they plan to use that as a single I wonder if they recorded a clean version. Beeping or swallowing the swear isn't really gonna cut it.

I like that she hasn't gone completely mellow! I love both preview tracks!

Well the members of this forum should be giddy with some of the selections on Kesha's playlist... Beatles, Beach Boys, Bob Dylan, etc. As far as I'm concerned, I find it a little disappointing the only female artist on there is Dolly Parton...

She sings really well on Praying and I believe that there is no Auto-Tune on the track at all.
