New David Lynch short film on Netflix!

David Lynch grills a monkey in a new short on Netflix

This is exciting. The short itself but potentially a link between Lynch and a platform willing to fund his beautiful work in the future.

 

I watched the first few minutes on a break. So cool. The talking monkey is creepy af

The copyright says 2016, I wonder if it was shot while filming The Return. The mouth effects look similar to what they did for the Evolution of the Arm.

Looking at the credits the waitress was Emily Stofle, Lynch’s wife.

 

That was weird.

 

That man is crazy.

 

A minor work but made me laugh quite a few times. If Netflix can bankroll Lynch to do his thing, this can only be good.

 

I loved this. I want more.

If anyone else on the planet tried to this it would be a laughable failure.

In Lynch's hands, it's beautiful. Damn near profound.

Best film I ever saw with a monkey as one of the main characters. Much better than any of the Tarzan movies.

Did anyone who ordered the 45 single of the monkeys aonh through BandCamp receive their order? Just wondering if David is skipping town with my $15. I never ordered from BandCamp before and I'm getting a little nervous.

 

No, I didn't order it in the end. Hopefully it should come soon. I've ordered via Bandcamp quite a lot and never had a problem. I blame the monkey.
