looks good! A really unusual looking label too.

That'll be a bit more difficult. The UK sliced side is a much brighter white and the detail of the apple core is washed out, so it doesn't look quite the same. I'm looking for a better example of an original label to render, preferably from an album that doesn't have much text on side two.
    Anyone have one?

I'm just doing labels as I feel like it. I haven't scanned anything in months, but I have been cleaning up ones already there.

Also just uploaded: Side one of the Atco quad label, just to be completist.

Did you see where I did my take on it? I just removed the side designation, and redid the colors. Now, the tan is closer to the original, but I enhanced the color wheel on the logo, and made the white so it wasn't so bright.

Yes. I made the white as bright as possible when I did mine, kind of "idealized". Your tan is closer to the original, but I think the black should be darker, though.

Now uploading to the Raw section: Pink Floyd's The Wall, all 4 sides.

You are the custom label king!

Seems like Jeff's specialty is rare and obscure labels, Miike and mine is tweaking and remasters, and Andrew's is finding them. And, Joe's is covers and the Beatles. Oh, Miike also covers Canadian labels!

Thanks for the compliments! Looks like we've got a pretty good team of geeks here, don't we?

...Uploading now to the new section, The Wall side 3, blanked-out.

I do like the "rare and obscure labels" but mainly because everything else has already been done.

I wouldn't say that! There are tons of labels that still need to be rendered! I just either can't find them in good condition, or they are too hard for me to tackle.

Not to mention the (early) ones that need to be remastered.

For our new readers: don't hesitate to post a request. Be specific and we'll do our best to track it down.

I've just added a remastered 70s Capitol red label used for soul titles 1975 - 1978. Since I did the last one as well, I removed it.

Anybody have a Real Records scan to contribute? I could sure use one for my new Pretenders CD-R comp.

I have resubmitted the Backstreet and Verve DJ labels. I realized that the first time I did it, the .jpg compression level was set too low. I have also just added that A&M remaster. Don't need it. There's already two or three in the gallery already.

I just added another Kent label and a Bomp label. I'm still not sure about the Kent label. I had some problems with it.

I smoothed out the grainy texture around the edge and uploaded it again. I think the new one looks better.
