Debut of "Rising From Ruins" and the first performance of "Night Comes Down" since 1984. They played three in a row from DOTF.

I just discovered the album this morning. I've listened to it three times. I'm really impressed. This is my favorite Priest album since Painkiller. I ordered the vinyl same-day from Amazon. Should be on my doorstep when I get home! :D

It's not sunny outside today and I have a covered porch. I get records all the time. No concerns. :)

HA HA! Awesome record, glad I bought the vinyl. "Never the Heros" is my favourite right now.

Oh, and I just bought tickets to see them live co-headlining with DEEP PURPLE in Cincinnati (Ohio, USA) in August! WHOO HOO!

Seems kind of funny in 2018 to have a teaser for a future video release. I mean, in 1987 I would be going crazy with excitement and anticipation. But in 2018 not so much.

I still feel like No Surrender and Flame Thrower are the two songs I'd remove from Firepower if I had to, though neither is bad and I'm glad to have them. No Surrender is greatly helped by being so short but Flame Thrower is not helped by being 4.34.

Traitor's Gate is the biggest gem on the album. It's one of the best songs they've ever done and they should have long since put it out as a video and played the hell out of it live. The lyrics and Rob's delivery of them is killer!

Does anyone know who is opening for who on the JP/Deep Purple tour?

I scored free lawn seats so I'm psyched!

No Openers - just the two bands. I would assume that JP goes on first, then DP (seniority)...but I could have that backwards

The tour does not start until next month, so nobody knows who is playing first or if they will alternate.

i don't have numbers but a quick chart view shows priest outsell DP easily even recent albums

Cool video. Nice to see Glenn involved.

Rob looks so much cooler in plain clothes and with a goatee that hasn't been dyed mahogany brown!! He should adopt that look for the stage.

Those album sales are linked to ticket redemption, so hard to say...I'm equally looking forward to both DP & JP

I think the first leg of the Firepower tour offered the album with ticket sales. Though, I never ended up getting anything when I bought a ticket...

Not sure what it's like for this second leg with DP.

I know they gave out free concert tickets for those who bought Nostradamus, at the time.
