We are excited to announce Mark Knopfler will release his ninth studio album, Tracker, in early 2015. Along with that news, we can reveal the first dates on his 2015 tour in support of the new album.

For a complete look at the shows announced today, as well as information on the MarkKnopfler.com presales, please visit the Tour page. There are many more shows to be announced very soon, so please keep an eye on this site!

Fans who participate in tomorrow’s presales will be given the opportunity to be amongst the first to pre-order the new album! Additionally, everyone who orders tickets in our presale will receive access to live recordings and exclusive merchandise. More details on those offerings will be revealed later this year.

    I'm in.

I've gotta say, though, Knopfler's records are drifting into Van Morrison territory lately, by which I mean they all kinda sound like the same album ... but it's a pretty good album ...

That's a very early preview if it's the actual cover but I really like it. Not original but tasteful!

I'm in. I really like his solo career. Better than most of his work with Dire Straits actually.

It's the first time that Mark appears on the front cover of a studio album (including Dire Straits). Hardly identifiable though

I'll be in for this as well.....the wife really likes him as well. Anyone heard the vinyl reissues of Kill to Get Crimson or Get Lucky yet? His CDs are usually on the pretty well recorded side though.

I've been a fan of Dire Straits since the early days but only recently started listening to Mark's solo output and purchased Sailing to Philadelphia just this weekend. Thought that the last album, Privateering was excellent.
I'll be really looking forward to this new release.
