I look forward to the Dire Straits titles. Allready have the Mofi Brothers In Arms. Would be nice to have the rest of them as well.

Weezer on SACD would be great too!

  2. I will be in for "Love and Theft", "James Gang Rides Again", "Get the Knack", and "Layla".

If the magic on the Japan for US lp Breakfast MFSL can be repeated as 2x45, it should be very nice

Good question. The SHM-SACD (the 2016 one) and the SHM Platinum CD of "Layla" are definitely flat transfers off the master tapes. The liners say "DSD flat transferred from analogue master tapes by Seth Foster at Sterling Sound, NY in 2013". I can see why folks may want a new LP of this, but I'm scratching my head about the SACD. The SHM-SACD can be had right now for about $30-$35 U.S. I'd be surprised if MoFi could eek any more "magic" out of these tapes but I guess we'll see.

Aren't we due for an I Robot reissue? Seems like it hasn't been reissued in 8 months.

Why complain? If the title doesn't interest you just don't buy it. That said I'm looking forward to the Costello set.

I think it's great that they are tackling Painted From Memory. Hope it is on vinyl and SACD.

I'm not aware of any true audiophile edition of Love and Theft. There is the original pressing, then the fairly recent Music on Vinyl (not really an audiophile label) pressing for the European market. What other versions are you referring to?

what no more Chicago or Foghat?

seriously would be nice if they would give audiophile treatment to more records from non usual audiophile names...

How about a Kate bush sacd?

How about a Blue Nile sacd?

    How about a Radiohead sacd?

    How about a Smiths sacd?

I can't say for the others, but Kate Bush and Radiohead didn't allow it so far.

Supertramp, Linda Ronstadt & The Knack for me if they are all vinyl. The original Get The Knack Capitol is gonna be hard to beat. Great sounding album.

The description for MoFi's Chicago releases sounds like a SACD reissue of Chicago 17 is coming. There was no mention of Chicago 17 on gold CD.

Gonna be tough to beat Linda Ronstadt's Heart Like A Wheel that was issued by Cisco. I do want this on SACD too.

Excited about the Richard Thompson release if it's on vinyl (don't own a SACD-player...). The rest of the schedule is quite boring IMO.

  25. I agree with you about the original pressing of "Get The Knack"... sounds really good, somewhat unexpected. IIRC the follow-up even sounds a bit better... But unlikely MOFI would tackle that, haha.
