Heh- that is the exactly the one I picked up as well. And then Brothers in Arms. Both meant to be splayed across two slabs of wax.
All of the others? Not so much. Stop the madness.

Still waiting for Blood on the Tracks on 45rpm. A4/5 and B4/5 would benefit from this.

For those interested, The Knack "Get The Knack" will be released on both LP and SACD according to Music Direct customer service. It was not clear in the catalog so I had asked one of their customer service people who were helping me out on a shipping issue for a different order. I decided to go ahead and place a pre-order for the Knack title on SACD since they offered to do so and that album does bring up some good memories from my college days in the dorms.

I doubt that album will ever be redone as a 2x45.

In many cases MOFI do 2x45 when there is another existing 33rpm reissue already licensed by another label.
For "b" level titles where in an artist series ( like from Miles Davis and Bob Dylan), the sales are going to be slowed
by the extra cost of 2 lps. Those titles won't be big sellers usually get a 1x33 reissue if one don't exist already.
This explains why the whole Miles or Dylan series aren't all in one format, it's a mix of 45 and 33.

Paging through the 2017 Music Direct catalog (Carlos Santana on the cover), I noticed the following new Mobile Fidelity titles. I hadn't seen any of these titles announced previously.

Dire Straits Dire Straits, Communique, Making Movies, Love Over Gold: All on 45RPM LP and SACD. Brothers in Arms is also shown, but it is already out on SACD.

Ry Cooder Boomer's Story, Paradise and Lunch, Chicken Skin Music: All on LP and SACD

Derek and The Dominos Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs: LP and SACD

Supertramp Breakfast in America: LP and SACD

Richard Thompson Rumor and Sigh: The format(s) is/are not stated. The description ends with "...the album has never sounded so realistic or crisp as on Mobile Fidelity's reissues." Given "reissues", plural, perhaps we will see this title on both vinyl and SACD.

James Gang Rides Again: The format(s) is/are not stated. The description ends with "...the songs sound more authoritative and fun than ever on these painstakingly restored pressings."

Procol Harum A Salty Dog: The format(s) is/are not stated.

The Knack Get The Knack: The format(s) is/are not stated. The description ends with "...songs like the immortal "My Sharona" explode on these reissues."

Bill Evans Trio Sunday at The Village Vanguard: Ultradisc One-Step LP

Tom Waits and Crystal Gayle One From The Heart: LP (Wasn't this title canceled on SACD?)

    Spinners Spinners: LP

Weezer The Lion and The Witch, Weezer ("Green Album"), Make Believe, Pinkerton: All on 180-gram LP and SACD. "Blue Album" is also shown, but that was released previously.

If I missed anything, please add them.

As i indicated, all of these titles (I left out Weezer/Green Album) have been released on LP. I don't pay much attention to SACD.

Ah, I misread. I'm very excited for the SACDs, and don't buy much vinyl.

You know, I never have understood why someone hasnt retackled this title again. It grooves, its southern slinky rock, wonderful lead singer, tasty playing, has a hit or two and is just a damn fine album. MFSL did it way back in the day. I cant recall if its one of the good sounding old mofi's or not. Seems it was.

But sure would be great if mfsl would do it again.

Or how about AF doing an ARS Best Of? That would friggin rock.

It will be interesting to see what they can do with Layla. I have the vinyl ATCO SD2-704 version and I would love to get a better sounding version.

Looks like vinyl (which I would buy) but SACD, heck I'll fly out to pick up personally. One of my favorite albums of all-time!
