I am liking the news songs that have been released so far. We might be up for a treat with both brothers releasing great material. Will buy my vinyl copy as soon as it is out. 2017 is turning out to be a great year for Oasis fans...

The track times have all been revealed on iTunes:

    1: Fort Knox 3:57
    2: Holy Mountain 3:54
    3: Keep On Reaching 3:24
    4: It's A Beautiful World 5:17
5: She Taught Me To Fly 5:07
6: Be Careful What You Wish For 5:40
7: Black And White Sunshine 3:41
    8: Interlude (Wednesday Part 1) 2:10
9: If Love Is The Law 3:25
10: The Man Who Built The Moon 4:28
    11: End Credits (Wednesday Part 2) 2:27

    Total length: 43:25

The length of "Be Careful What You Wish For" makes it look like it'll be this album's equivalent of "Everybody's On The Run" and "Riverman".

I like this song, but I think I like it more for the production than the songwriting.

I like the song as a whole, but I'm not a fan of the French bit. I would've preferred a guitar solo in its place.

This album is going to be his best of the three so far for me what I have heard so far, each song gets better and the bonus song sounds amazing.

I, agree it sounds great! It's a shame that it's just going to be a bonus track.

I agree... not sure I totally I believe in the story though. "A couple of years ago I was playing this song on my guitar before a gig, but I didn't know anybody actually recorded it, and I had no intention of ever recording it again. Then when I realised there were no bonus tracks for the new album, someone suddenly me told they actually recorded the song and we could release it as a bonus!"

It's a bit like the birth of the Traveling Wilburys... "I had to record a B-side, so I thought, I know, I'll invite some session musicians - Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan and Tom Petty - to play on it. It'll definitely just be a B-side though." Yeah, sure George, sure... ;)

  17. It's A Beautiful World is a very good song, if a bit out of Noel's wheelhouse.

You know that the album was recorded before his tour with U2?

The sad thing is his new album has now marred my listening experience to his previous two albums which were brilliant. A combination of his new albums songs /production and his attitude with his ground base Oasis fans.

This is my last post in this thread.
    Bored, chairman.

I’m undecided whether to order the Japanese version or not for God Help Us All. I’ve got a feeling it’s going to end up being another Simple Game of Genius (which I wish I could still get hold of, had an mp3 years ago but I lost it)

The album is “out there”. I’ve only listened to God Help Us All, it’s just an acoustic demo, probably from Chasing Yesterday but it’s good it’s finally been released

with all that silly talk about this album being (going to be) subpar & underwhelming, what a great little album this turned out to be :righton:
easily the best Noel solo album to date (other 2 weren't bad either but this...better !) and...solid 8/10 gem after initial few listens.

studio She Taught Me How to Fly BLOWS away that pedestrian Jools Holland live version...what a difference an actual proper producer makes (for both brothers)...my, my.
album has little something for everyone, very diverse type style Pop record and a very good one at that. can't wait for my Japanese copy to arrive, probably early next week.
