In that case: Couldn't you invite your uncle over to your house more than once every 5 years? ;)

No, you’re correct. I’ve always been annoyed it was never available on CD.

They should have included it on Pure McCartney.

You just have to shell out the big bucks for a promo single...

I keep seeing those on eBay but it's hard to have any confidence in their authenticity. Looks like something I could knock up in 5 minutes at home with a lossy MP3 burned on to it.

Anyone know a way to prove whether these are genuine or not?

It's easy to tell a CD-R from one that is pressed. That would be one thing to check I would think.

But some promos are CD-Rs and not pressed.

Yeah I guess these would be incredibly easy to knock-off then.

No, no no, My Sweet Fork. Jesus Christ is my father's name. Just don't tell anyone. I'll start getting a flood of Facebook friend requests.

Mine is actually a "for your consideration" cd, iirc. But I share the suspicion on these things in general. Some very authentic looking fakes out there...

So much news buzzing around. I'm getting quite excited to go to work tomorrow night since that's when the album will apparently "drop".
