I hear a bit of "Big Day" in the new song. Maybe that's why "Big Day" was just registered within the last 2 years? Paul did say he was going through his old unfinished music and tidying up what he could. Wouldn't surprise me if a few of the new songs pulled from older songs going by his statement .

    Yeah, playing 3 hour, non-stop concerts , world-wide , doesn’t show any vitality.

There are 3 paper lines right after McCartney in the new tease. I don’t know if it’s a meaning but I’m beginning to see clues everywhere. You should see my oatmeal!

Dreams come true! I play uncredited bass on 4 tracks from today's Surprise Album (Paul McCartney - Tracks Across Time's Eye (2018) (as long as we're all living in fantasy land and all - it's now Friday across much of Asia and nada)

While we're waiting for nothing; here's the proof that more people than one can write a McCartney-tune (the clip is funny enough, but the acoustic song (of sorts) bookending the silly bits is striking!)

    Track list leaked!

Paul McCartney - Tracks Across Time's Eye (2018)

"To Be Said" - Based on the poem. A short string quartet piece. Delicate.

"Bring The Dawn" - Huge production number, mellotrons to brass, booming drums.

"Love Hear My Thunder" - (Rolling) Stones-like rocker. (Sounds like) peak Wings.

"Robber Of Soul" - Funky jazz/brass number, unlike anything in (McCartney's) catalog so far.

"Cracks In The Earth" - Electric piano ballad, sounds like a Chaos And Creation In The Backyard track.

"Buy The Farm" - Solid rocker, Steve Miller-ish.

"It Happens Every Time" - Tight rocker, best song here.

"Silent Water" - Piano/organ/electronica song -- nice lyrics.

"God Damn Rock 'n Roll" - Sounds like a Back To The Egg outtake- almost punk.

"Pizza And Fairytales" - Most Beatle-esque. Reminds (me) of (McCartney's unreleased 1987 song) "Return To Pepperland."

"Pictures In Song Suite" - Almost 15 minutes. A true song suite, divided into four movements. Most people won't get how good this is.
