    Another one:

You recently mentioned that you have a cd you recorded of Christmas songs and that you "add one or two" every year. Will you release those recordings to the general public?

Yes, that's for sure, but aren't they really similar?

This video features Paul quite a bit. Not a bad message either, I mean it is the only planet we've got.

King asked the same thing when Paul, Ringo and the widows got together for the 50th anniversary of Ed Sullivan (I think it was). IIRC Ringo answered with something like "I pinch HIM".

King doesn't do research on his guests and asks really stupid questions.

We'll... I like them all. Some of them do have a similar expansiveness when he sings the title of the song.

Yes. Larry was open about winging it. But if you listen at the 3:55 mark to Paul's answer...about the 2 sides of him and the side who remembers when he was 5 years old, the question actually elicited a revealing (for Paul) response.

Here's another I'd love to hear an answer for...

How familiar are you with the solo careers of the other Beatles? Did you actively listen to John/George/Ringo new releases in the 70s and beyond? If so, did you hear songs you wish you could have worked with them on? Do you ever listen to their solo works nowadays? Any little-known or well-known songs of theirs that are particular favorites?

What songs on Egypt Station were the most enjoyable to work on and why?

Which songs on Egypt Station have the most personal meaning for you?

Are there any songs on Egypt Station that surprised you with how well they turned out?

Since all the songs on Egypt Station are supposed to work together as a cohesive whole, would you consider playing the whole album in it's entirety on tour? A lot of fans have been wanting you to play a complete album on tour for quite awhile and Egypt Station seems to lend itself to that idea.

    How about...

Paul Simon will be releasing a new album the same day Egypt Station comes out, but his album is all re-recordings of previously issued Simon songs. Are there recordings of yours that you feel you didn't get quite as you wanted at the time? Or ones that you'd like to try with different lyrics/arrangements/musicians? What might a Paul McCartney album of reimagined recordings consist of?

That's an awesome idea, I think I will call this masterpiece Return to Broad Street!
