After you perform the song way more times than the guy who wrote it, it becomes "yours". :)

I've sung "Silly Love Songs" in my shower a billion times - can I claim publishing rights? :)

Only if you whistle the horn part and play air bass each time.

I enjoyed myself very much at the concert in Brasília, especially when Paul looked at me and my friends and thanked us for our signs. I didn't mind the rain, I'm used to it at Paul's concerts.
In fact, the DJ (Chris Holmes) and the cameraman (Charlie) complimented the crowd on instagram, and I found myself in their pictures, which was a nice surprise!

Setlist for tonight is the same as always. Though the encore has an twist - just like earlier this leg - both 'I Saw Her Standing There' and 'Hi Hi Hi' instead of one of the two, so no 'Get Back'.

Not his best night vocally. Or maybe it just sounds worse on "TV" than it does in an arena.

Sure, as long as you don't post a video on YouTube!

Paul usually does play it in concert though so it is topical

So after tonight (Nov. 26 in Sao Paolo), does Paul have any more gigs for 2014? Or is this it for 2014?

Great show last night. Huge stadium at full capacity, everyone singing along the whole time (in spite of the rain). Paul was very happy and sang with passion.

I had to do the soundcheck package for the first concert.
Today I got a regular ticket for the second concert, arrived at around 1 PM and got third row. Both shows began at 9:45 PM.

Geez, this is a dumb question, but if you got there that early before the show to get a good spot up front, what happens if you have to go to the bathroom ? Can you just wade through humanity and get your place up front again when you are done ?

At this point, Paul must have performed the song many more times than George ever did!

Once you're at the front row, it's best not to leave. It would be very hard to return.

hahahaha I wish! I plan ahead very carefully so that I will not need to leave my spot for any reason.

And you make sure to NOT drink any soda bottles filled with "yellow" liquids. ;)

Yes, I've been stuck in the front at many general admission shows. And once you are in front, you make sure to go slow on your water (and/or beer) intake. Otherwise, you may never make it back. But people usually are pretty nice if you are polite, and if you still have a hour or two before the actual concert begins. Once the show starts though, everything gets tighter.

If you're on your own make friends with the people around you so they recognise you when you come back. When leaving to get pint or on a bathroom break be very showy about it, people will remember where you were and that your place is in front of them.

In my experience, it's not that tough to leave a prime GA spot and return as long as the show's not started yet - people are better about that pre-performance.

Once the band comes on - even if it's an opening act - it gets way tougher. Definitely good to have people "vouch" for you, as you note...
