Apparantly another 30min of footage was found besides the hour program which has circulated and is on the early years box.
will the full concert get released? or will pink floyd have to revise the box set?
check the link. KQED have been kind enough to share one of the performances. a rendition of Astronomy Domine.

I saw it and was amazed to finally see them play it on video. I am a little sad during Gilmour's solo they are showing other band members.

    Great footage!!!!!

(Unfortunately the streaming was overloaded so I had lots of pauses.)

I wonder what track or tracks they play in the remaining 21 minutes of new footage?

I don't understand how this gets found now after trawling the archives for everything they could for the box set.
Oh well, I'd still buy a standalone release with the extra footage because I'm an obsessive fool, dammitt!

Embryo, Saucerful of Secrets, and Interstellar Overdrive more than likely.

Apparently they knew about it but didn't want to pay. There are others who know the full story that might chime in.

Would it be fair to say that Astronomy Domine was their signature piece? One of their earliest pieces and they have it nailed down.

Just compare it to the Fillmore West gig (they played there around the same time).
I'm sure they performed the exact same setlist for TV, but maybe shorter.

This is the setlist from Filmore West (29th April 1970):
    1. Grantchester Meadows
    2. Astronomy Domine
    3. Cymbaline
    4. Atom Heart Mother
    5. Embryo
    6. Green Is the Colour
    7. Careful With That Axe, Eugene
    8. Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun
    9. A Saucerful of Secrets
    10. [Encore:] Interstellar Overdrive

    The song didn't exist yet.

The article says the set list was exactly the same.

I REALLY want to see footage of them performing "Interstellar Overdrive" in that quality, and in that era.

The Early Years set kind of maxed out my interest for material from this era, but this is a cool find.

Now, if someone could find a high quality DSotM/WYWH era performance on video...
