New Prince: 4Ever (2016) & Purple Rain Deluxe (2017)

Is this a limited set?

 

Listening now - the last track on LP1, Side 2 ("Gotta Stop") is really, really rough. I'll chalk it up to it being the last track before the deadwax, I guess, but it's really bad. The rest of the first disc sounds pretty good though. Curious to hear what others think of the sound quality.

 

The '4Ever' vinyl release looks amazing. The Prince Prints (missed hype sticker opportunity) are a nice addition.

 

Its never sounded that great, it sounded rough on "The Hits" collection back in the day. I could never obtain an original either then or now, so the sound quality on this 4Ever set is about as good as I remember it being on The Hits CD's.

or just throw "17 days" and "How Come You Don't Call Me Anymore" on there at least.

Don't know what took me so long.
I prefer The Hits/The B-sides over 4-Ever
