IMHO, the best drummer's album since release of Billy Cobham' Spectrum. No kidding.

Drums are definitely up front in the mix.

Indeed it's a drummer's album, some people don't like drummers' albums I know, but other musicians on the album are really great and fortunatly they were plainly inspired in the studio during recording sessions that the album would be appreciated even by those who aren't big fans of drummers' albums. Also, one can't hear much jazz on this CD; thus, it's a perfect kind of fusion for my beloved "prog-heads" :)

Fortunately I lover drum albums. I usually buy over a dozen solo or ensemble percussion albums every year.

I'm starting to dig this. Roine's guitar work is always glorious, and I love hearing Casey McPherson sing (he needed more lead vocal time!).

Just took a listen to their “Discesa...” album from 2008 or thereabouts (haven’t listened to it in years). Love the flute and violin textures. Nice album, glad I pulled it off the rack!
