The DELUXE edition will have a FULL whisky bottle....
And the box set a voucher to the Betty Ford Clinic.
SIGNED by Ringo St... Oh wait, nevermind.
I dare you to play it without an alcoholic beverage at hand ...
Oh I can't and that's why I will wait until one evening soon when I will listen, drink and post over here:
I knew you couldn't! No one can!
New reissue of Bad Boy is a Gatefold. The original was not. The info and picture inside the gatefold was originally on the inner sleeve. The new issue has an extra image Slick of the back cover photo
It looks nicer now.
Thanks for the pics. I take it you didn't go for the Blue vinyl one?
Didn't know there was a blue one. Please don't tell me....
Yes there is a blue version and it sounds WAY better!
Couldn't agree more. The Hudson (over)produced albums sound like Hudson's personal Beatle fantasy trips. He tries to make most songs sound like "Octopus's Garden" and has mentioned modeling several songs after specific Beatles (and John Lennon) songs. Blech! And then there's the songwriting-by-committee with six writers on every track. Double blech!
Ringo producing himself with one co-writer per track sounds good and has produced a higher percentage of decent songs per album.
One of my three favorite Ringo albums, along with Rotogravure and Ringo.
I did in post #1 of this thread.
And we can have Scouse The Mouse as a bonus CD
Did anybody notice this? https://www.amazon.com/Ringo-LP-Sta...rd_wg=egYvi&psc=1&refRID=PZ8C9M93DV6419V1CP3E
And Goodnight Vienna is $10 less so Ringo must have the book.
I have the 45 RPM box of 3 US Apple singles from RSD. They sound really good. Hopefully those reissues sound as good. I'm definitely in.
So I have both Friday Music versions of the reissued BAD BOY LP unopened. Same catalog number for both. How to tell the difference? Stickers are identical. Anyone?
I just got the blue one (so far), but it has a sticker that says it’s blue. Not sure about the Gold one, but I know @Mazzy has one. Maybe he’ll chime in...
How many of the Time Takes Time colors did you wind up getting? All three?
One or two ... not sure lol.
Looks like "Ringo" & "Goodnight Vienna" are also getting vinyl reissues. I hope they have LOTS of colored vinyl options.
Both albums, remastered by Ron McMaster at Capitol Mastering, will be released by Capitol/UMe on January 19, 2018.
"Goodnight Vienna is currently under $14 at Amazon:

I just picked up the Friday Music of Time Takes Time.
I had not heard the album before. Some good music on it.
But the mastering is not very good. Quite compressed, and sounds a bit harsh. Disappointing.
So Ringo Starr colored vinyl is easier to get than Paul McCartney colored vinyl.
In all seriousness, I just went for the S/T and GV. Because they're good.
