Just watched the first 2 episodes of this dark comedy about a pyramid scheme, among other things, and really enjoyed them. Dunst is very good in the lead role, as is Canadian actor Théodore Pellerin, who is new to me.

    Anybody else watching?

I saw a promo for this. Looked pretty good, but I haven't watched yet.

I’m watching. It’s awesome. Same with The Righteous Gemstones with Danny McBride that also just premiered. Similar shows.

Tried it last night. We couldn't get through the first hour. We thought it was really boring. I doubt I will give it a second chance.

    It does start slowly.

I go both ways on this stuff. One part of me tries to be patient with new shows and to give them time to unfold. Ive been rewarded many times doing this.

The other part of me says life is short and there's so much to watch why waste time with something that doesn't grab me quickly?

These days I try to go at least a few episodes in before giving up, especially if there is somebody in it that I respect. Dunst did such a good job in "Fargo", and I think she's got another winner here. And the subject interests me.

With the exception of the movie "The Babe" which was one of the worst movies of all time, you can't go wrong with John Goodman.

I never much liked Alpha House. And I tried.

If you like Danny McBride's type of humor, you will love the Righteous Gemstones. It's very funny.

I watched the first episode last night. About half way in I started thinking about whether I cared enough to continue watching characters I didn’t care about and a genre I’ve scene before.

However things really pick up in the last third of the episode, and there’s quite a shocking surprise thrown at us; I’ll likely try Ep.2 before deciding if it’s something I want to continue watching. Kudos to Kirsten Dunst though, she’s always interesting to watch.

I'm in trouble then. Never cared much for either of his HBO shows.

My wife and I took on chance on this and watched the first two eps -- we're in!

I think we were sold on Kirsten Dunst's acting so far -- she is really cultivating a likable yet quirky, unpredictable character!

I spent most of the first episode just trying to follow exactly what was going on, but by the end I was on the hook enough to watch episode 2. Now I'm in for the season. I really liked her in the second season of Fargo, and this has a similar vibe although very different plot.

Most shows set in Orlando area, and filmed elsewhere, usually mispronounce the nearby town Kissimmee as "Kiss ah me". Curious if that ever comes up.

Kirsten Dunst is pretty great in this. I'm wondering if she had work done or did her body just thicken up,especially in one area. And, that's meant as a compliment.

I dig Kirsten a lot, but this show does nothing for me.

This. Think she's terrific actress & I've enjoyed other cast members work, i.e. Alexander Skarsgard & Ted Levine (I remember him from Monk). Liked the premise w/the pyramid scheme biz., & I like the dark comedy "Dead To Me", but this one's just too off-beat (for me).

Totally loving this. Fire up the Emmy talk for Kirsten Dunst.

So surprised at how much I like this show... needed to start a thread on it.

    The Righteous Gemstones

Started watching "On Becoming..." last night. I remember when one of my daughter's friend's father tried to pull me into Amway back in the 90s, so this show was hitting really close to home LOL!

Mel Rodriguez is very good in this too. Smaller part so far, but obviously going to be a big part of where it's headed. I've been impressed with him since he was on Better Call Saul.
