New speakers...

    No, not my other new speakers. These are the newer new speakers. I just bought a set of Rogers LS 3/5a's! I'm really stoked! I think they will be a better fit for my tiny listening room. The others are great but are a little too forward for my taste, and will be sold.

    ...are those cones paper or plastic? Looks pretty cool!

    It's just as well you have a tiny listening room as those little buggers are seriously low efficiency units. The originals were officially rated as a 16 Ohm impedance, but that won't matter. If your amp is up to it you are in for some joyous sounds. I can see you buying a lot of female vocal from now on as the mid-range is to die for.

    I almost bought these in '82, but chose Celestion SL6 (copper-dome tweeter). Another speaker with a beautiful mid-range.
