Unfortunately for Steve, his classic songs with Journey will always overshadow his solo work. But I’m glad he’s back and he sounds good.

Agreed on everything you said. I was surprised at the luke warm comments and the lack of traffic here. This is major news.

I can’t stop playing this new song.
My first listen after 25 years was .. is the voice the same? Do I like this song?
But after 4/5 plays it’s totally stuck in my head.
The dude looks in great shape for 69 and his voice is still outstanding.
It’s good to hear some real music for once.
    A happy day today.

The mastering is also pretty damn good by today's standards. Hope the album sounds like the video.

Just listened to the 45 minute in-studio interview on Sirius. Was really great to hear him again and his perspective on things. Such a sweet guy.

Wish there was an option for a signed CD without any of the useless trinkets.

Well for most on here anything but macca/the Beatles counts as no news. I kid I kid.
But Perry putting out new music is huge.

That’s another reason I grabbed the unsigned double vinyl.

In one of the interviews Steve says Bob Ludwig mastered the album

  19. Also noticed that. It's an endearing trait that comes through in both interviews.

New song's okay & Steve's in fine voice, for sure.

Keeping my fingers crossed that it might be worth taking a punt on.

One thing I noticed on the merch site; the big ticket items (signed test pressings, drum head, and large art prints) say "signed by Steve Perry". The signed album and CD just say "signed". I assume that is just an insignificant difference. Right?
