Home Invasion/Regret #9 and Ancestral are incredible.

yes and its great intuatitive use of all of the speakers to enhance the sound he is one of the best at surround.

I am not as immediately taken by the album as I was by Raven, but feel it will be a bit of a grower

I just picked up the deluxe box set at a local record store for $99. They have 3 more left. Just wondering if I should get another 1 0r 2 ?

Very good album, I'm not sure if I like it more than Raven or GFD.

Still waiting for the DGM store to ship the deluxe book, but they were a bit slow to ship the Raven deluxe as well.

Anybody else agree Routine is a bit of a mess on all levels? I'm starting to think if that that was edited out the album would flow a whole lot better. Ancestral already sounds like a real tour de force.........

Didn't know anything about this new album. I loved Raven.
Is it available just as a FLAC download anywhere?

Nope, and while I understand those who think the lyrics/vocal delivery are a bit cheesy, I still think the lyrics pretty accurately describe the mood SW is trying to portray--a depressed person trying to get through each and every day.

I checked on Burning Shed and a few other places. No digital download at all.
    Seriously?

Liking it a 'lot' so far. IMHO it is more like GFD that The Raven but a great, individual rock record

Glad there is a Flac source available but what's the whole deal with Burning Shed?
I've always been under the impression that Steve Wilson was all about HD stuff - including downloads.
    Where is the 24bit edition?

I wasn't watching when Raven or GFD were released - was the hi-res download available on or soon after release day?

It was on Burning Shed very quickly. 24bit too.
Also, it was half the price of what HD Tracks are asking (even now).

I don't know how this works out in dollars but currently, you can pick up the 24bit of Raven for £7-50

On HD Tracks in the UK, it's £17.

There's no way I would buy from HD Tracks.

Be patient. Tomorrow is the official USA release date, I'm sure there will be any number of purchasing options (including CD quality and hi-res downloads). Like many others, I don't likethis album as well as Raven (so far, at least)

I've listened to the Surround mix and the instrumental mix so far: it's a very good sign that the instrumental mix itself is actually a good album in its own right.

To anyone who got the Deluxe edition does it include a card to download a hi res version of the album?

Weird - I got my shipment notification on Friday, which surprised me as I ordered from them just last Wednesday. Really figured mine would be in a later batch after the earlier orders had been fulfilled.

I know it was announced for purchase but I have a deluxe edition coming to me and I want to know if it comes with a download card to download a copy of the hi res files.
