I'm eager to see the specs on the new cart.

Finally a TT PSU that can be fine tuned by the end user :pineapple:.
Now the " but they run fast " crowd can be silenced...

They're also releasing a digital stylus gauge.

I found some more pics of the new kit (including the stylus gauge, MC stage, PSU and a better look at the new cart)
Rega Ania Archives - Moorgate Acoustics
Also seeing the cart up for pre-order at a few places listed at £498 and an expected date of April... really tempted as I'd love to try the MC side of my Aria.

I'm curious about this too, but at the moment a little bit confused.

In this link.....Chester Group | Leaders in High Performance Home Audio & Future Technology Shows
It says....."To complete the set, we are soon to launch a brand new updated and restyled TT-PSU. Designed for Planar 3 and above the all new TT-PSU which will have for the first-time user adjustable fine speed control, a function only seen previously on the RP10 power supply."

But in this link.......Rega Ania Archives - Moorgate Acoustics
It says....."The TTPSU is moving into the new shaped case first seen in the Rega Brio. The price remains at £198 and we are currently uncertain if there are any additional changes. We’ll add that information as we have it.", with no mention of speed control?

Does anyone know of any further details and availability?

The TTPSU is a new design, in the new style case. Moorgate acoustics didn't ask enough questions. The new MC Fono has the new style case. Presumably the Fono MM will too. And the next Apollo...

I heard Planar 3/Ania/Fono MC/Brio 17 at the Bristol show into RX5s, and very nice it was too. Probably better suited to the new Planar 6 though...

I saw it at Bristol and spoke with the Rega rep, it has speed control. The Moorgate info isn't up to date.

I wonder when we'll see the new P6 and Apollo-R?

Speed adjustment is welcomed here. I'd probably buy that unit

For crap's sake this is frustrating! I can't find any way to contact Rega directly about anything. All it says on their website is that if you have any questions to contact your dealer or distributor. So, being in the US I contacted The Sound Organisation in Dallas asking about the new TT-PSU with questions like When/Where/How Much, etc..

    Here was their response.......
"I am not aware of any plans for a new version of the TT PSU. That said, Rega does tend to be quite secretive when it comes to new products. The RP6 currently comes stocked with the TT PSU MKII.
I suggest keeping up with Rega’s website, http://www.rega.co.uk for product news and announcements."

I've rarely seen people try harder NOT to sell something!

Good idea, thanks. That will be my first Tweet. I've resisted up to now.

  19. Could the new power supply be used with an RP 6 to make the tables spin at 33.3 rather the current 33.7 or so?

That is what we've been led to believe. I did actually get a response on Twitter to be watching in June for information about the new TTPSU.

My guess is that will be released along with the P6. They would most likely package those two items together like the RP6 and the current TTPSU.

Very new. So new that you can't get one yet... Rega did have a Fono MC before but it was a different design. This one is definitely sweeter by way of more adjustability.

Ah ok, there was a previous, now discontinued, model. That's what threw me off when I was searching google for rega fono mc.

Yeah; they tend to reuse old product names. I hate that. It's not the only company that does it, but really, does there have to be two products 10 or twenty years apart with the same name?...
