'They' say lots of things. Perhaps they are the best thing ever. Or something.

Pretty pedestrian looking, frankly, which is less than great for the money asked. Can't see Magico or Audio Note has much to worry about, given the client base.

BTW, TotalDac has been around for some time, on account of their DAC designs.

I say you should send me all your money. The question is: will you believe me?
    My thoughs based on appearance:
    - Yeah they're probably loud, and I'm guessing they sound decent to blast rocket music.
    - The ports look like they are designed for appearance...which doesn't mean they don't function well but color me a bit skeptical.
    - Likewise the horn, I'm more into smooth internal profiles. Those hard angles inside inevitably generate internal reflections and the outside termination is not flush. Again that doesn't mean they sound bad-but that's a small horn compared to the size of the woofers.

Funny, I've never heard of Bayz Audio Counterpoints, or of Mono & Stereo Magazine, for that matter. But hey, I'm a pedestrian plebeian...

Never heard of them, either. However, the way things are going with hi-fi retailers here in NYC, they may not be around for long. They're dropping like flies. Thanks Covid.

@highendlover, are you the same person as highend666 that posts about Totaldac speakers at audiogon?

I haven't auditioned the Magico's or the Totaldac speakers. Based solely on the info they have in their sites I would choose the M9 everytime, if I had the funds and the mansion to put them in.

$15K for a passive 2.5 way speaker? I thought Klipsch was expensive...
