This is one in a series of videos called Nick Knacks covering the history of shows on Nickelodeon. This particular episode is about You Can't Do That On Television and I just thought some of you might enjoy it.

  2. Cool. I was on that show once. I found a very blurry still pic from an old betamax copy online thanks to a previous thread here.

I remember that I always thought that 'Barth's Burgers' was 'Barf's Burgers'.

Interesting documentary. I never knew the history of it. I used to watch it and have a crush on Christine McGlade. I wrote her once. I remember asking her if she'd heard of The Psychedelic Furs (this was 1984). I got back a typed info sheet of stats of the cast. At the bottom she wrote a note saying thanks for the letter and she does like The Furs. Favorite song: India, from the black album.

  7. 1979, the first season. I think it was only shown in Canada that year. I was friends with a couple of the cast members.

  9. I was THIS close to getting to go to her cottage once. I was working at a nearby summer camp and my friend who was on the show was supposed to pick me up on the way. He didn't show for reasons I've long since forgotten but I'm still bummed about it.

Did you know her at all?

  11. No, I don't think I met any of the cast other than my two friends and Les Lye.
