She was quite the artist.

 

I liked her with Meat Loaf. On Night Court, not as much.

 

Wow, I had no idea this was the same person. I had to look it up after reading this. Although to be honest, I barely remember her on Night Court. I must have started watching after her season when it was first on.

 

Then Black Sabbath could have had a sequel to Iron Man!

 

I'm not so sure. Peter Griffin on Family Guy made that wish, got it, and ended up being attacked by everyone who was extremely annoyed by the continually playing theme music.

 

Has anyone noticed a sort of similarity with Karen Austin, Ellen Foley and Markie Post? They didn't look alike, but there was something that I can't quite verbalize. Maybe some kind of subtle sensuality?

 

I like mashed potatoes with Meat Loaf.

 

I wonder whatever happened to Karen Austin, Gail Strickland, and Paula Kelly after they left the show.

 

Both Austin and Strickland have both worked steadily for TV and movies. Kelly was active until the late '90s, I haven't seen her in years.

 

How about peas and carrots?

 

Cheers and Night Court cross over. Sam has to bail Norm out of jail because he doesn't want his wife to know. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication and Norm was misidentified for a murder suspect. The murderer got Norm's bail and Sam has to show up. Cops believe that Sam is drunk as he is showing up to see Norm and is in the cell across from him. Sam ends up in Night Court, Norm ends up there as well when the mix up is discovered. Bull wants to visit the bar and Fraiser comes to help defend both and be character witnesses.

Mayhem ensues!

This is a silly thread, but it got me thinking about the show again too. I loved watching this when it was on but haven't seen it since. This thread has me wanting to revisit the show.

 

What if Markie Post had gotten the Bat Out Of Hell gig...

 

What if Barney Miller had been joined with Night Court...and every time the scene would change, there was this, "dunt-dunt!" sound effect, and everybody would look up at the ceiling at once for a second...?

 

Sounds like a proposal for a new Law & Order show: Law & Order: Sillier Crimes Unit.

 

It is silly, but something I wanted to do for a long time now.

 

Nice to hear at least some of them are still working steadily.

 

Ellen Foley is on the recording. Karla Devito (Mrs. Robbie Benson) appears in the music video.

 

I would have watched a Dan/Christine show. I would have watched Markie Post recite my grocery list.
