Charity mega-"super-groups" (like Band-Aid and "Do They Know It's Christmas") are NOT included in this. Other (more typical) super groups are OK, as long as the group actually had a name of some sort, but didn't record anything other than one or more singles. And (most obviously) REAL bands or solo artists who recorded and released only a handful of singles (but never any full-length release, neither an LP nor CD) especially count as well. IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, please provide links to any audio clips you might be able to find for this stuff on-line, or feel free to upload some 30-second clips so we can all share in the discovery of some music that is likely unknown to many of us here. And post any images of covers you might have (or links to such images, if you can find them elsewhere on-line). What gave me the idea for this thread was this (which I just stumbled on by accident on Allmusic, though I don't have the CD, and can't personally comment on their music)... Buried Treasure: The Prayers (just noticed in an AMG blog entry, which gave me the idea for this thread) Note: there is an audio sample in the AMG blog entry above, and a couple more on the label's website (here for samples of two tracks, and here for samples of two more (different) tracks) -- all by a band that appears to have never released a full length album. What else is lurking out there (well-known, or obscure) that meets these guidelines?? (Again, NO mega-supergroups like Band-Aid, and other similar 'charity'-type collaborations.) Also, the compilation I linked to above (in the AMG blog) is a later-day release, and clearly should not disqualify an artist for inclusion in this thread. Yes, it's a full-length release, but one made up of singles released many years before, along with some demos and other unreleased material.
