    Barry Young -- "One Has My Name" (1965). Dean Martin was so big people were trying to imitate him. And by the way, this Scopitone is wonderfully insane.



    Barry Young died in late 1966 of a brain abscess, aged 35.

    I was a teenager in the 60’s and very plugged in to music and I can’t believe how few of these bands I’ve ever heard of.

    I may have mentioned it before, but a clip of the CTs doing the original (and IMHO, superior) original version of "The Pied Piper" used to be on YT, but was taken down and never re-upped.

    It's one of the re-ups I most hope for, along w/ The Human Beings doing "Because I Love Her"
