It's funny how I didn't realize that this was a country album all this time. Her redoing I Honestly Love You made little sense to me.

The re-mix of 'I Honesty Love You' never really took off, I remember seeing her in concert after that was released and she went back to the original version. I personally think you can't mess with an original especially an original like that one. I never cared for that remix.

If you read the article I posted back on page 22 Here
about how MCA was going to spend 2 Million on promoting Totally Hot, in that article it mentions merchandising aids 4 foot by 4 foot posters, displays, standup's, dividers, 3 dimensional wall displays, 2 foot by 4 foot posters and scarfs etc.

I came across this photo on e bay of Olivia promoting Totally Hot, check out the backdrop, can't tell if that's all one promotional layout, we are all familiar with the life size stand up that Pizza posted a while ago that holds the scarf and album and is the same photo as the back cover of the album but this photo here has the large alternate shot of her from that photo session. It's interesting how they blended the front album cover to the wall she is leaning up against. How can I get one of these???

I don't have the Japan CD version so can't comments on the audio quality. I'm still looking for the German Pressing CD with the bonus track Electric not so much for the track because I already have Electric from the box set but really want the original prints inside from the Soul Kiss photo session.

I have the original 1985 MCA CD with original full color fold out inserts and feel this one has the best sound, i just crank it up and it gets better without any listening fatigue. I also have this CD from the 40th box set but it's compressed not as bad as some but still a bit loud.

Just got My 'Soul Kiss' CD from Japan. Polygram P33R-20001. This IMO her finest hour, sounded even better than I had ever hoped for! One of the best sounding discs in my entire collection.

    Great posts Song4U!

Even though I'm following this thread, for some reason I rarely get notified of additional posts. Anyone else having this problem?
