Olivia Newton-John. Yay or Nay?

I think the pic is from around 1978/9. She had her hair cut short in 1981 and it wasnt this long again until 1988/9, and I don't think she's 40/1 here.. Can't be sure, though...

 

I will defer to you, as you are the unquestioned ONJ expert in these parts. You are likely right. She looks older to me here in that pic though which is why I assumed it was late 80's when it was taken.

 

It could well be. Perhaps someone else will settle it for us.

 

Always felt she looked a bit like Brigitte Bardot on this one!

 

And today is Bardot's 81st birthday, too.

 

I'm sure that was for Koala Blue. Opened in 1988.

She was likable, wish she had been more creative and adventurous. I will say to her credit she was abundantly competent and brought a sense of ease and skill to her work, unlike Linda Ronstadt who often seemed out of her element.

Looks like she swiped a pair of Elton John's ROCK OF THE WESTIES era specs the last time she visited his house and wore them to the set of Grease!

I think so. As I recall, it was just Olivia modelling a few sweaters.

 

I had the 'loud sweater' one as a huge poster in the 70's!
