Lets keep sound quality out of this, just looks. Please post pictures and label the table so others know what they are.

Currently I am enthralled with the Teres 255

And a long time favorite is the Orcale Delphi

I prefer this type of style. This example is Onedof. I never cared for wood trim....reminds me of my parents 1958 station wagon.

There's a few I like at the moment, though I'm no longer into playing vinyl, there's some nice designs out there these days:-

The simple but elegant contemporary clean cut styling of the Clearaudio Performance

Restored Garrard 301 in custom plinth

And my first record player - a Dansette Viva!

Lastly, probably my favourite of the 80s budget decks, the Mk V version of Sansui SR222 line

I have to agree with you! The one with the light-colored plinth is beautiful. I read your "restoration" page; what a labor of love (and patience).

The Oracle, by a big margin.
The Oracle CD player is equally as jaw dropping.

  22. I have this table. I only wish it had a more substantial plinth. Aesthetically, the plinth isn't tall enough given the size of the platter. Sounds fantastic though. No idea why people complain about direct drive tables. I assume because they've never heard one done right. :)

  23. I dig the Walker's. I'm more of a wood guy, so I like that they at least show these on wood. It helps tone down the aesthetics of an otherwise very "engineered" looking setup.

I love simple and clean. Rega leads the way IMHO.
