I love ordering CD's online. I can usually find discs at decent price and everything in print is usually in stock. The problem is I'd say about 50% of the time when I receive my order in the mail at least one of the jewel cases is cracked. OK I can understand it every now & then but it's gotten to the point where I almost expect a cracked case. If it's a small crack in a regular jewel case I don't mind that much as I usually a few cases lying around. What really pisses me off if it is a 2CD case or like a Ryko case that isn't easily replacable. Am I just having bad luck here or does it happen to any of you? I won't give the name of the company, but I ordered 2 CD's from this store (which I love besides this problem) and the box they came in was about the size of a phonebook, not damaged, and had plenty of cushioning inside. When I opened it up one had a slight crack, but the other one was like smashed. When I opened it up it started to break up into shards. I don't know how this could have happened in transit, maybe it could, but I'm seriously thinking of not buying jewel cased CD's in the mail anymore. Do any you experience this?
