It's a local group in Cincinnati. What's interesting is that their newest release is also on a limited edition double vinyl. Nicely pressed by Virgin records on what feels like 180g. Their first recording was in 1991 and this is their first on vinyl. I hope this is a sign of things to come for all groups - not just Lucinda Williams or Richard Thompson.

I also like Michelle Malone's new cd - too bad there's no vinyl

Karin used to be my upstairs neighbor in a little apt. building in University Heights. We used to talk a bit but she was very quiet and shy. We used to go to Sudsy's to support them when they were starting out.

I need to check out their new album; generally I prefer their first couple to the material of recent years.

I agree, Patience and Eve are their best along with the Besides alternative material. Ohio takes some listening and time, it's pretty good. Better was Cutting Room Floor, their previous release.

I saw them in '90-91 in a tiny Oxford, OH bar, and they sounded great. Glad to know their releases are still out there. I have a self-titled tape of theirs I'll need to dig out.
