Oxford, UK Record Stores

I'll be staying in Oxford (and London) for a few weeks and wondered if there are any worthwhile stores to check out in or around Oxford.

I know there are threads about where to go in London, so I'll have to make a nice list of those.

 

I know this is a few weeks old so I dont know if youve been to Oxford yet but Truck Store on Cowley Road is worth a visit

I tried record shopping in Oxford and couldn't find anything worthwhile. One of them is like a coffee bar / record shop, all new records and overpriced from what I remember (this was a year ago).

 

I'll stick to London then

 

Truck store is a coffee bar (very nice coffee though) and record shop. I didnt really think that the prices were that expensive when I went.
Maybe not worth going to Oxford just for that though!

 

I wont go out of my way. I'll be staying there for over a week.

 

Fair enough! In that case I would go to Truck Store. Its a bit of a walk from the main city centre but Ive always bought something when Ive visited it!

 

Also, Fopp are reopening in Oxford. Store opens July 28th!
