Was Yo La Tengo "Bobby Knight Ranger"? I wondered who they were.

The Jon Hamm cameo was great.

Still going strong? Good. I'll have more to watch when I get back to the beginning of season 5.

I thought so too. He did great cameos in 30 Rock as well.

Jeff Tweedy was the lead singer of Land Ho. I knew he looked familiar.

I swear during the festival I saw Jon Hamm in a crowd shot so I wasn't 100% surprised he showed up in a cameo.

Season 6 was rough. The writers have this ability to make characters awesome in some seasons and then really irritating in other seasons. I actually was incredibly annoyed by Leslie's character this season. And yeah, why was Craig unleashed on us? His whole schtick is tiresome.

This show can't come back quick enough for me. There's so little I enjoy watching these days.

    Same here.

Unfortunately season seven (the final season) is a short one. Still, it feels like the right time to end it. The show is still pretty great, but I think it's past its prime. Plus Chris Pratt's career is just taking off, so I'm sure he would be leaving the show very soon if it were continuing. Best to end it now.

It looks like NBC will be airing two back-to-back episodes each week. o_O

Wow, I know it's never been a big ratings grabber, but they must really want to be done with it ASAP!

It looks like they want to burn it off. So they can give Dick Wolf more airtime for another cop/firefighter drama.

Anyone watching season seven? Four episodes in now, it's had some good moments, but the subtext of wrapping things up is definitely there.

I've watched the 4 episodes so far and found them to be completely unfunny. I thought things had gone downhill in the last series, but this one is even worse.

I'm still laughing, but it's probably good that they're ending it.

Come on though, Werner Herzog's cameo was hilarious because it was so random and unexpected!

Yeah, the show feels pretty tired. You can almost see the actors who have places to go (Pratt, Aziz) counting down the number of episodes left. But I enjoyed Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman's head to head in the second episode last night.

This is reminding me of Rosanne's last season. It is terrible.

Loved this week's episodes. I wish the Johnny Karate Show was an actual show. I'd watch it in a heartbeat. Did not see the Bill Murray cameo coming. Never heard a peep about it...

Yeah, I feel like NBC has shown pretty open disdain for the show, especially in its final season.

Well, what did everyone think of the series finale?

I thought it was okay/good, but not great. It leaned too heavily towards the sentimental side and had fewer genuine laughs than I would have preferred.

Glad they never acknowledged the "documentary" nature of the show, though. I was fine just accepting it as the show format and didn't need or want an explanation.

Like the rest of this series, completely unfunny. Seems like they ran out of ideas some time ago. They essentially did nothing with Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe, just brought them back for the feel-good factor. I'm not surprised NBC has shown disdain (as you put it) for this season, as it has been dreadful.

I have no idea what the jump to 2017 was meant to achieve. Like all too many US shows, it went on too long.
