that's pretty close to where i work. i understand he likes to attend the races at saratoga so maybe that's where he was heading.

I just listed to some Partridge Family this morning.

Sounds like David Cassidy needs to learn to not drive after he's been drinking.

 

Wasn't the old man, Jack Cassidy a roaring drunk also ?

Jack Cassidy was a manic -depressive/Bi-polar who self medicated. David should have little to do with hootch.

That tends to follow. Shirley Jones has said when he wasn't busy with a job he became seriously depressed and drank.

That's what I'm sayin', I hope he gets help.... all the news about this I've read says his alcohol count was about 3 beers, and that he didn't dim the brights - and the police tried to motion that to him?? On the other hand he allegedly was a bit lost getting off at the wrong exit, therefore the brights.........
How many have been in that situation, off at the wrong exit. But then it could all be attributed to the plain fact he was drinking...I hope he gets help, IMHO he could very well be trying because we don't hear this situation about him very often.
I watch the Partridge Family in the reruns...just don't want to hear about another popular or once popular (whichever you like) celeb crashing out.

Shaun Cassidy went into other realms in the entertainment biz and seems to have a clear head about things. I uess he manged to deflect those destructive genes David inherited.

 

turns out the arresting officer is named Tom Jones, and when he identified himself to Cassidy, David began singing "what's new pussycat?"

the officer didn't know THAT Tom Jones, nor David Cassidy... wonder if he's heard of Sting, and the Police?

too bad it wasn't an arrest for dope.... Cassidy could have sang "the green green GRASS of home"

Nothing in the facts of the story indicate he was drunk or an idiot. He was legally impaired with a .1 BAL, which as someomne already noted, is about 3 drinks. Not a smart move to drive, but not what I would classify as idiotic.
