This sounds tempting. Adding it with my $25 gift card, I would only be paying somewhere around $80 for this set, but I definitely don't know if the hours at work are gonna pick up again and I need to use my money for other expenses. I'm afraid I'll have to pass up this code... drats.

More like food, car, gas, bills and whatever vinyl album that comes up for sale that never did when I had the money for it versus Flowers :D

I'm certainly no fan of Motor of Love but I absolutely agree with your view on this.

Oh, it will. If not by this Black Friday time, then by the next one. I'm in no hurry.

Holding out hope that that black and empty space might happen to be filled on the retail sets...

At least they're sort of saying there will be more titles in the Collection and it's not going to stop. Maybe.

Oooo, this is getting exciting. Could that really be the case? Would they really go through the trouble of making two different Coming Soon cards: one with a 60% black and empty spot, which is included with the Promo sets; and another card, with that 60% of the card revealing the actual next Archive set, to be included in the retail sets of Flowers.
Hmmm. I don't know. It seems too kooky of an idea. But....

Yes, but then think of the horror of you having to track down the Coming Soon promo cards for your collection!!!

True but too bad vinyl in general isn't reasonable in 2017 :(

Just checked: The price is back over $17.00 again.

Is there any rhyme or reason about how these price jumps and drops come and go? Or it is just someone having fun at Amazon central?

Well they are not having any fun at Amazon.co.uk central. The deluxe is still £134.99 FFS

They might be saying that 'these titles are now available with a Capitol sticker over the Concord logo(while supplies last)'

Also has none of the gauze, crap reverb, and general lack of focus. I'll take the single every time, but that's just me.

There seems to Bea discrepancy from 2 different posters. One saying no coming soon cards, the other saying he posted about new coming soon cards 2 weeks ago ?

Am I reading that correctly ?

Something I've noticed about the archive series. Most or even all 10 of them, are the ones McCartney & or the critics love. Chaos & Flaming Pie being the 2 "Big Ones" remaining.

But Red Rose seems to be such an obvious choice, the aborted double album tracks, outtakes, live tracks, non LP singles, hits.... It seems like an unfinished project without RRS, Wildlife, London Town & BTTE, the remaining Wings.

But if you're just doing the 'Big Ones' critics darlings, & big sellers, maybe they go straight to Flaming Pie & Chaos.

Usually when an artist jumps to a new label, the new A&R people cut off the spigot of what they were doing before. But MCartney has so much clout with the label compared to ordinary mortals.

Red Rose Speedway is the obvious one to me, remaining of the early albums. A plethora of studio outtakes, non LP singles & B sides, a ton of live recordings, & 2 #1 hits. & 4 more top 40 hits including a top 10. This album might be the sleeper in the grass, the bonus material cinches it imo. But it wasn't a critics darling, & apparently isin't among McCartney's favorites, is it ?
