Heck that is a longer run time than the "Ringo 2012" album was!

Weird how the video is credited to Paul McCartney since the demo clearly has two singers, writers and players: Paul McCartney & Elvis Costello.

It's credited to both on iTunes.

Oowee this is gonna sweet. Hearing "My Brave Face" in hifi is soooo great after 20 years of bootleg listening. This has to be one of my most played unofficial recordings, unlike most boots which are curiosities at best.

Really can't decide whether to cancel my pre-order at Amazon.co.uk (£134.99 minus £10 as I got a promotional discount), and wait to see if the price comes down significantly after release.

Anyone else hazarding a guess on what will happen with the deluxe version price over the next few months?

I am waiting for an SDE deal alert after release. Got one today for the Pink Floyd Early Years for example, which was about a third cheaper than it had been on release. Its just being willing to play a waiting game, which is difficult when you are an uber fan of someone along with reading this thread once people start hearing it. Gonna still get the 2CD and my purchase of the deluxe is almost inevitable, but just need to cling on.
The other factor with this is whether the download situation will damage sales so prices will drop...

If we are going to stoke the fires of a Best Buy exclusive, the listing below is currently on eBay.

While the seller, listing from Los Angeles and going by the name of "SWEDENRULES Music Store", does list the title as Best Buy Exclusive", there are no details as to what gives this items the exclusive thrill we all love from Best "Tote Bags Galore" Buy...

The store is now listing the following on it's site, There is also the two-CD edition listed at $17.99 that has the picture.

No way of requesting a price match on Amazon, is there? It's currently £119.99 on the uDiscover store. If they match that, any order with the £10 discount would be a little over £100. Ideal price being about £99 or below though.

Not as far as I know. I did also have a pre-order with uDiscover at £119.99 (plus about £7 postage) but cancelled that yesterday.

Think I've also got a pre-order with either Amazon Italy or Germany. Not sure which, should probably check that out! Worked out cheaper, but I received a £60 Amazon giftcard which I put towards my UK order.

Just played the demo/video of "My Brave Face" at lunch on YouTube and it is great. Very crystal clear fidelity and a "fun" listen!

Yep we are still waiting on the news of the "exclusive" and what it is? Also waiting on if Barnes and Noble is doing something for the release as well?

  22. No offense intended, but what are you talking about?

It took me a while to warm to, but now I like Ringo 2012. Much better than the pretty dire Y Not.

    Thanks for the heads up.

Is the word "Spotify" even legal on this forum? (People need to get over it and just accept the music in all listenable-formats...)
