    Assuming this tweet is correct.

I was hoping for London Town & Back to the Egg as the next release.

I don't mind FITD. Good album. I would rather see it paired with Off The Ground.

    I will wait for confirmation.

Off The Ground is also a weird case where a deluxe edition has already been released, at least in certain European territories. The second disc of The Complete Works:

    1. "Long Leather Coat" (McCartney/McCartney) – 3:35
    2. "Keep Coming Back to Love" (McCartney/Stuart) – 5:01
    3. "Sweet Sweet Memories" – 4:03
    4. "Things We Said Today" (Lennon–McCartney) – 3:38
    5. "Midnight Special" (Arranged by "Lead Belly" Ledbetter/Alan Lomax) – 4:57
    6. "Style Style" – 6:01
    7. "I Can't Imagine" – 4:40
    8. "Cosmically Conscious" – 4:39
    9. "Kicked Around No More" – 5:29
    10. "Big Boys Bickering" – 3:22
    11. "Down to the River" – 3:32
    12. "Soggy Noodle" – 0:28

Yes, you are probably correct. I just hope that he is the primary singer on most of the songs on the soundtrack. I am happy enough with Gaga singing one or two, but I wouldn't want it to be full of guest stars.

I'll take a Bluray featuring complete show from the 1989 tour (similar to Rockshow) along with FITD reissue.

Me too my friend, me too. The band he had in that tour was the best, excluding the Wings era.
    Ps: I love Hamish.

This really makes me wonder what Paul thinks of Red Rose Speedway. We've repeatedly talked up that album for Archive reissue with large selection of leftover songs from the sessions, accompnaying TV special, live cuts from Wings Over Europe, the "James Bond" hit single and the fact that it gave me him his first #1 album and single as Wings!

I really hope they are saving it for something very special in the future......but the wait sucks :(

That is a very good idea. It would be nice to see a proper concert without the stupid amount of edits and jumping from one show to another.

I wish we could get some true independent confirmation here as to whether or not this is a hoax or not before I chime in on this. That being said if this is the next deluxe edition, I can't really say I'm surprised. It truly encapsulates the word "comeback album" for McCartney and was met with a generally well received tour and most McCartney fans I've spoken to in the years since hold the album in high regard. One guess could be that the remaining Wings albums just don't have that kind of juice behind them where they stir memories of the general public and therefore would invoke nostalgic feelings leading to those albums being shortlisted for the archive treatment just yet.

That being said as Arnold Grove mentioned was perturbs me the most is that we don't seem to be getting pairs anymore. I'm personally discounting a spring release followed by two further titles next autumn. To me that sounds like pure fan fantasy right there (not that I don't want to be proven wrong on that). Eh whatever, I've been long since done trying to figure this out. I just got to avoid running into the grim reaper for the next twenty-thirty years and all shall be fine.

HOW could I miss that??? How long do I get banned from this forum for such a careless and horrible error as that? :D

Speaking of "Back On My Feet", I personally think it is one of Paul's most under-rated songs.

I would be surprised if Paul spent two consecutive years highlighting his work from the 80's. Surely that stink needs to be spread out over time...

So is the photo fake or not? Besides that source is there any other confirmation?

I'm kinda having second thoughts on this one now...

Here's an image of the most recent "real" card. Note that it references "exclusive license to Starcon LLC"
Same thing as the previous card:
HOWEVER, the new card says nothing about StarCon. I'm not currently at home, but does someone have access to look at their old cards? Maybe the Flowers pic IS a clever fake, after all?

Hmmm. It's also missing the HEAR icon next to the MPL Juggler icon.

We have a mystery on our hands...

Good spot. Isn't it also missing the Hear Music logo at the bottom?

(EDIT) I just noticed Arnie's similar comment.

I don't know if it helps, but I have the 1CD version of 'Band on the Run' with the original coming soon card (McCartney/McCartney II, RAM, Venus and Mars/Speed of Sound, Wings over America). The copyright notice says:

"© 2010 MPL Communications Inc. under exclusive license to Starcon, LLC
    d/b/a/Hear Music. HRM-32564-00 0888072325647"

with logos for MPL, Hear Music and Concord Music Group.

They don't promo the complete deluxe versions with the books and all that. What I have has the three discs (2 audio, 1 DVD) for each, though.

Saw one of the Berkeley shows from that tour. There is an excellent soundboard around of the one I saw that would make a great release.

Was he in good voice? I have heard that he had some incredible performances on that tour, but that he was also a bit croaky during some of them, after wearing his voice out over the tour.

I wonder what most fans consider to be his strongest concerts from that tour?
