Yuck. This disappoints me.

 

ES just keeps getting better and better. Ive put it aside to listen to Tom Petty's new record and i didnt get far on that, and back to ES. Listened to 1 or 2 songs from Sgt Pepper because I am reading the new George Martin book, and back to ES. Listened to the new Imagine once for John's birthday, but its back to ES. I cant get enough of it. Despite Repeated Warnings is an epic, out of this world classic!

 

Why is that a secret?

Well, look what we have here:

 

After watching the music video, I think we're getting two more music videos for "Come On To Me". One for every teaser we got.

Also, I like how the security guard presses play on his phone and the pause button doesn't switch to the play button.

 

Guess there will be more Come on to me videos. This one was a bit odd.

 

So, I see Egypt Station is down to #72 on the Billboard Top 200 this week after 4 weeks. That's quite a drastic drop.

 

Would have been a bit more effective - if it was released when the single was - and they showed bundles of Egypt Station product in a Target/HMV store being guarded months before album release date.

Otherwise, harmless, but is a FAIL.

 

Watching the video, was waiting for something to happen - , but nothing - paging Ms. E Stone! LOL

Not that I care much about videos or even understand why they release a Come on to me video now. But this video was not what one could have expected from the songs celebration of clubbing and interaktion between sexes. More a lonely solitaire feel

Honestly, I think the goofy video is an attempt to keep Paul out of the picture, quite literally in this instance. If a younger less familiar demographic sees "an old man" with a guitar they will NOT click on the video, guaranteed. Soooo a goofy video of a rather "humorous" security guard was the tactic. "Keep it young, light, humorous and Paul-free" the marketing dept. must've said.

 

Yes, we have to see what happens with Mike and Ike and their food truck.

 

Do all the attendees at this private concert get a free CD of Egypt Station? And if so, does Billboard count each as a "sale"?
