I got F71 and have no idea what they are like - any good?

Or am I in "I can say I was there" seats?

Rick-taking your kids to see Macca is the best. Took my daughter to see him when she was in her late teens--she was blown away. She couldn't believe how great he was and is now a fan for life. She had grown up with all the music, but seeing him live brought it all home for her. Have a great time!

The stadium is awful. Almost every seat is behind a Pole.

For non-field seats, they look good - over behind third base...

    Ouch! Dreadful... :)

Unless, of course, you can score front row...

OK bababooey, I appreciate the effort but that joke was painful.

We're at Fenway in section B7, and jazzed.
Saw Paul before, at the Worcester Centrum in 1990, and at the Fleet Center in 2002... this'll be our first time seeing him outdoors.

I saw Paul at his last Fenway gig and the sound was surprisingly good. It's different than indoor audio, but it was loud and clear. Recordings from the shows are definitely above average. Ron

Yeah, every Macca stadium show I've seen - Citi, FedEx - offered awesome sound. Macca may charge a lot for tickets, but at least he invests in a good sound system!

Right on! I've not seen Macca since 2010. I suspect I'll get to some shows this summer - let's see what other US cities he hits! :)

I think Macca will be the first 70-years-old-+ rocker I'll have seen live...

Well, techinically, you saw Charlie Watts this past December.

I saw him from 2009 through 2011, and then squeaked in his appearance at the 12-12-12 show. Can I still be a part of that club? :D

Sure thing! I saw him in 1993 here in Sao Paulo, two concerts in 2002 (Ft Lauderdale), then Sao Paulo 2010, Rio de Janeiro 2011, Recife 2012 and now I'm going to Belo Horizonte!

Heh - yeah, I thought of that after I posted. I should say I've never seen a 70-year-old-plus frontman! :)

Argh! Why does it seem to be taking forever for the rest of the USA shows to be announced?!?! Probably because I regret not taking my kids last time and really want to now....

It's especially annoying because Macca will probably only play 7 or 8 US shows anyway.

My guess? They want to sell the Fenway shows to siphon off suckers fans like me who might think "he's not coming closer to me!" and will buy those tickets. THEN they'll announce more east coast shows and make those same suckers fans buy tickets to those shows as well!

It's been four years since he hit DC - it's time for more!

I don't raise a stink about high ticket prices, but this is the tactic used by a bunch of artists that drives me up the wall!

Like when Bruce announced a Foxboro show last year and then added Fenway?

On some US festival forums, a couple people are swearing up and down that Paul is playing the San Fran's Outside Lands Festival the second weekend in August. Tickets prices are up $30 each and capacity was raised 10,000.

    Same promoter as Bonnaroo.

I'm hoping a Cleveland appearance happens this summer, he hasn't been there since October 2002.

Yep, Bruce is pretty good at playing that game too.
