I like a lot of different albums in mono but Ram in stereo is my choice. I have an original Apple release and it's just a great sounding record.

goin with the stereo... my mono copy is fantastic but I have only had it for a year or so since it came out whereas my stereo has seen much love thru the years...

Stereo - this is a case where it's an easier choice.

Mono version all the way. "Too Many People", "Eat At Home" and "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey" are amazing in that format.

I'm going with stereo, even though I love both... I guess mostly because it's really a match (song for song there might be an exception) and I just enjoy listening in stereo if there is a choice.

Can someone remind why a dedicated mono mix was done of this?

Voted stereo because I listen to that one more often but I like the mono a lot. I think it's a fantastic mix. I favor the mono "Monkberry Moon Delight" in particular because the effects on the vocals are much louder.

The stereo mix didn't fold down well for (1970's) mono radio play. Try it, there are bad phasing problems.

Mono for me. I just wish the reissue of it had come in something other than that white cover.

The mono was interesting when I first heard it, just prefer the stereo version.

I wish they'd isssue the mono mix on CD. I have the vinyl with the ugly white and plain cover, which I thought was a poor excuse for a cover, I mean just give us the original cover, ya know?

I choose mono, mainly because it's still interesting for me to hear. I grew up with the stereo when I still played this album to death. The mono I've only spun maybe a dozen times. I still dig it and it's my go-to.

Stereo one, even if after so many listenings the mono version with all these little differencies sounds tasty :)

Atlantic routinely issued mono copies of their LPs for radio through 1974.Has anybody put together a list of which of these are mono and which are folds?

Chris from Chicago Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes

Would I be publicly flayed for admitting I have not heard the mono version?

Yeah, that... is shame I'm feeling.
