One of my favorites of his. Never shows up on any list of his top post-Beatles songs.

Not really, no. It’s a bit repetitive, to say the least.

Is it true that this was originally written for Ringo?

Ugh, I can't stand this one.

However, I'm always fine with "Silly Love Songs", which I know tens of thousands of my aquaintences hate.

Speaking of Auntie Gin (Jin?) this famous photo was taken at her house.

Yes, but I don’t usually listen to the entire five minutes of “na-ing”

Great McCartney mid-tempo piano rocker. I like the minimal start and the "fife" snare drums thing.

A near and dear to my heart bit of pure-Paul-pop; I'm always expecting him to sing "do me a flavor", though.

I like it. Specially the ending with those tiny voices appearing out of nowhere, the cute flute melody fading out, the drum pattern...

It's not the song but they way it was arranged...so evoking
Always make me feel I'm sheltered inside a cosy home while a lot of weird, wintery things happen outside.

Possibly the absolute nadir in McCartney's discography of hits.

    So, no.
